Setting goals & working towards them can give you a sense of purpose.

Achieving goals feels good & boosts your self-confidence.

However, if you set unrealistic goals that aren't possible to attain, it can be defeating.

Instead of feeling satisfied, you may feel worse about yourself than you did before.

It is important to set goals that are attainable, which are goals that you will be able to achieve.

If the answer is yes - great! You can move forward with planning how you will work towards your goal.

If the answer is no - how can you adjust your goal so that it is something you may be able to accomplish?
