Dr. Kavame graduated from Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Medicine. During her studies, she received the cardiology project exchange award from the The University of Rijeka in 2011. Then 2012, she received the ERASMUS mobility prize for 2 semesters at the University of Coimbra in Portugal. During her physician role, she joined the Observership Programs at McGill University Medical Faculty Nephrology and Medical Genetics departments. She completed her Master of Science in Human Genetics at McGill University with a full scholarship received from NIH.

Dila Kavame, MD, MSc, is an experienced physician and a research scientist who worked mainly in emergency and nephrology services. She received a National Institute of Health of the US prize to complete her studies at McGill University Research Center in Canada. Her works included nutrition, bone and mineral metabolism, skin regeneration, trauma medicine, metabolic disorders, and genetics. She later worked as a clinical researcher and oncology research coordinator.
