Annie often finds her ex in her kitchen when she arrives home from work. She's afraid it would be rude to tell him it's inappropriate to show up unannounced. Which signs of low self-esteem does Annie display?
In this scenario, it's clear that Annie doesn't want her ex to show up unannounced at her home. A lack of boundaries has allowed him to think that this behavior is ok. Annie is more concerned with her need to please other people. She's more concerned with her ex's comfort and feelings than her own.
