There are inevitably pros and cons to either situation, but it's ultimately up to you and what works best for your life!
The Pros
Full Control!

No Worries!
Once you've determined you can pay your full rent or mortgage, you never have to worry about relying on someone else, or having to give up your place if your roommate decides to move out or a relationship ends unexpectedly.

You can use the space however you want, and you can be as clean (or messy), and as loud (or quiet) as you want!

The Cost
Often big cities have high rents, and housing prices are high in many places as well. One of the first questions you should ask yourself when deciding whether or not to live alone is: can you afford it?
It Can Be Lonely
Photo by Anthony Tran on UnsplashIf you're not someone who enjoys their alone time, you could find living by yourself to be very lonely at times. You may have to work harder to meet people, schedule time to hang out with friends, and pick up hobbies to stay occupied.
Less Help
One tough thing about living by yourself is not having anyone around to share the household tasks like taking out the garbage or cleaning the bathrooms. This can be especially true if you own a home, where repairs and maintenance can be challenging.
