What is a SMART goal?

SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound.

A goal that is SMART uses these standards to help increase the chances of achieving a goal. When you set SMART goals, you are more likely to achieve success.

Specific

  • Be very clear about what you want to accomplish.

Measurable

Time-Bound

  • Be realistic about how long it will take to achieve.
