You want to show your love by physical touch but your partner doesn't want any physical contact right now. What should you do?
Although you express your love by physical touch, it's still important for you to respect your partner's boundaries. Forcing your partner, ignoring, or gaslighting their feelings are forms of abuse. Ask them for their consent first!
5. Receiving Gifts
Let them know you love them by:
Giving a gift you think they'd like to receive
Bringing them their favorite snack or treat
Avoid:
Giving a gift that is meaningless to them
Failing to give a gift on special occasions
Take Action
There are so many ways to show and receive love. But you don't need to stick to one love language. Your unique way of loving someone can be a mix of any of these!
Express and receive love.
