Should Maya Quit Her Job?
Maya has been working for a software company for two years. She's made a lot of friends and has been very successful on all of her projects, but she's starting to wonder if it's time to move on.
Here is her career goals brainstorm and her pro/con list. What decision should Maya make?
My Career Goals:
I'd love to own my own business someday and develop mobile apps. I want to be able to make my own schedule. I want to be able to set my own business goals and strategies. I find it really frustrating to have to go along with someone else's ideas if I don't agree with them.
A pro for quitting would be:
I get to start my own business! I'd be my own boss and start making my goals a reality.
A con for quitting would be:
I wouldn't have a steady source of income for a while until I got established.
