1. Scholarships for Women by Major

STEM
SWE Golden Gate High School Scholarship Program: For Bay Area high school seniors or community college students planning to pursue a degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university.
Literature
Irene Adler Prize: For students pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, or Literature at a recognized post-secondary institution. A 500-word essay is required.
Arts
Distinguished Young Women Scholarship: For female students who are high school juniors or seniors and participate in local programs.
