  • Irene Adler Prize: For students pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, or Literature at a recognized post-secondary institution. A 500-word essay is required.

2. Scholarships for Women of Color and LGBTQIA+

If you are a woman of color (WOC) or a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, there are scholarships out there for you! Check out these opportunities:

Scholarships for WOC

  • Brown and Caldwell Minority Scholarship: For full-time junior, senior, or graduate students majoring in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Sciences with 3.0 GPA or higher.

  • DGV Scholarship Program: For students majoring in Computer/Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics or Engineering who demonstrate financial need.

Many institutions offer scholarships specifically for students enrolled there. Check out your school's website for scholarships that could be a great fit for you.

5. Application Strategies
