Yes, according to the Indian aircraft law, flying a kite is a criminal offense!

Under section 294 of the Indian Penal Code, causing annoyance to others through ‘obscene acts’ is a criminal offence with punishment of imprisonment up to 3 months or a fine, or both. The law doesn't explicitly mention what falls under the "obscene acts," but the police, state officials, and lower courts systematically use it to target couples.

So basically, public displays of love are considered inappropriate if they cause inconvenience to others.

Imagine you're digging up the soil, and you find something that has a value of more than Rs.10 (0.14 USD). In India, you need to report it.

Under the Indian Treasure trove act, 1878, Whenever a treasure valued at more than ten rupees is discovered, the finder must notify the Collector in writing as soon as possible.

If you fail to report it, you can be punished because by law, all treasure hunters' discoveries belong to the government.

According to the Indian Sarais Act of 1867, anybody may request free water for themselves and their pets at any time from any hotel.

Furthermore, they have unrestricted access to the restroom. It's legal to use the restroom or drink water in a hotel even if you're not planning to stay in that hotel.
